Sports Premium is ring fenced, and will be allocated directly to primary schools across England, providing them with dedicated resource to buy in invaluable expertise and support. Funding will be allocated through a lump sum for each school and a per-pupil top-up mechanism – a primary school with 80 pupils will receive around £8,150 each year.
In order to ensure all young people have access to high quality PE, schools are required to publish details of their sporting provision on their websites. Below is our School Action Plan showing how we intend to utilise our funding across the school to improve our PE provision. Please note that there was no swimming data for the school in 2020 due to national lockdown for the summer term.
On the 16th March 2021 the Department for Education announced that they have extended the deadline for spending the Primary PE and sport premium
On the 17th June 2021 the Department for Education confirmed that the funding would continue, at £320 million for the 2021/2022 academic year.
